In order to become part of the highly skilled team in the wood department, employees must have a passion for the trade and desire to produce high quality work consistently. When looking at adding to the team, we prefer it if junior level applicants have successfully completed one of the entrance level courses available and have been recommended by their instructors.

Many of our tradesmen are certified or working their way towards becoming certified. We believe in the apprenticeship program and our apprentices have consistently been in the top 5% of the class while attending training facilities such as BCIT.

We have a diverse complement of skills within the Wood Department, from traditional Boat Builders, Shipwrights, Joiners, Commercial & Architectural Mill-workers to Timber Framing, Fine Furniture making and Design.
